Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
Trails through Franconia Notch State Park lie thirty minutes away, and Littleton's riverfront Main Street is a twenty-minute drive.
The rooms
Tents open onto private decks, with plush king beds and en suite bathrooms fitted with pull-chain hot showers.
The yoga deck
Morning yoga classes meet on an outdoor deck equipped with Lululemon mats and blocks, facing the Presidential Range.
At the table
Embers prepares seasonal dinners and cafe breakfasts using regional produce. Outside, wooden dining tables sit across the gravel courtyard.
The heart of camp is a large, tented communal area housing a small shop stocked with hiking layers and toiletries, the café, stacks of board games, and a lounge area where guests gather for crafts and other activities.
How it began

The Blake family settled the property in the 1780s, running it as a dairy farm through the nineteenth century.
