What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Villa Chamoun has stood on this site in Lebanon’s Qadisha Valley since 1965... the glamorous spirit of the sixties is very much alive.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Hasroun perches on the edge of the Qadisha Valley, where footpaths lead straight down into the terraced gorge.
The rooms
Hand-painted murals line the garden suites, and upstairs bedrooms look straight out across the terraced valley.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
A pop-art floor mural by Rana Salam sits beneath the water, bordered by loungers and a retro pink gazebo.
At the table
Breakfast brings signature zaatar pancakes, and Bar Michel pours whiskeys selected with Beirut's The Malt Gallery.
How it began

Toufic Chamoun built the house in 1965. Four decades after it shuttered, his grandson restored it with seventy local artisans.
