Where it shines
Listed
Salvaged brick and ironwork artifacts shape industrial riverfront interiors by Glen Coben.

An enclosed footbridge leads to Pilates and Ayurvedic bodywork inside the electric station.
Listed
Direct riverbank access in Coxsackie, beside the historic tavern and village waterfront park.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Patrick Henry's tavern serves craft beers in a century-old saloon next door, and Riverside Park borders the grounds.
The rooms
Rooms are simple and comfortable, dressed in warm neutral tones with iron accents and views toward the water.
The spa
Treatment rooms sit behind industrial sliding barn doors, where therapists give hot stone massages and organic body scrubs.
The gym and Pilates
Pilates reformers and cardio machines face the river, and morning yoga meets out on the waterfront deck.
Dogs stay too.
At the table
The Blue Heron pours cocktails by a lobby fireplace, and upstairs, Lil' Piece BBQ serves smoked meats over river views.
How it began

Four local brothers bought the abandoned 1906 iron foundry in 2018, restoring the derelict site to revitalize their hometown waterfront.
