Walaker Hotell, vibe
“Its rooms are divided between four distinct buildings, from the main 1930s inn to the oldest one, Tingstova, which dates back to the 1630s.”

Rooms

Rooms span four distinct buildings, pairing antique timber paneling inside the seventeenth-century Tingstova with private garden terraces in the renovated wing.

Backstory

In the same family since 1690, the hotel repurposed an 1883 timber barn, constructed from church salvage, into a summer art gallery.

Eat & drink

Walaker Restaurant serves a nightly four-course menu of Lustrafjord langoustines and venison, complemented by vintage bottles in the converted cellar.

The neighborhood

Set along the quiet Lustrafjord in Solvorn, the property is framed by fruit orchards, calm waterfronts, and soaring Western Norwegian mountains.
