What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
A 17th cent house in the town centre, this small hotel provides modern, well-equipped rooms also accessible for disabled guests.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The front doors face Künzelsau Castle on Schlossplatz, with local bakeries and shops directly outside.
The rooms
Rooms sit across five townhouses, fitted with clean contemporary furniture and designed with step-free access.
The sauna
Curved timber benches line the Finnish sauna, set beside a sanarium steam bath and a reflexology foot path.
The spa
Wicker loungers line the quiet room, and a stone basin fountain bubbles beneath a backlit sky ceiling.
At the table
The glass conservatory serves seasonal dishes and local wines. Tables look straight out onto the garden patio.
How it began

Carmen Würth established the hotel in 2003, restoring protected monuments that previously held a prince-bishop's office and a police station.
