There’s nothing particularly flashy about Amanyara’s accommodations either, though given the extreme privacy and sheer physical luxury of the place, there doesn’t need to be.

The landscaping, including the large central reflecting pool, the 164-foot black volcanic rock infinity-edge pool and the lush vegetation, plays up the clean-lined Asian-inspired architecture.
How it began
Architect Jean-Michel Gathy blended Asian minimalism with Caribbean coastlines in 2006, naming the resort for peace and place.
