The renovation has been led by Leo Daunt, the hotel’s general manager and third-generation proprietor, who was born and raised in Montauk.
How it began
Frances and Richard Daunt purchased the motel in 1977, passing stewardship down to their grandson Leo for its 2022 overhaul.
