Situated as it is in a tiny alleyway off the Lungarno Acciaioli, the Gallery Hotel Art, despite its unbelievably central location, is strangely quiet.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
The quiet courtyard opens onto the Arno, placing the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Galleries just around the corner.
The rooms
Bedrooms have hand-stitched leather headboards and dark wengé wood, with bathrooms finished in pale sandstone.

Nikkei dishes and craft cocktails are served in the dining room and out on the heated courtyard terrace.
Virtually the entire ground floor, from the lobby through to the lounge … is one giant gallery, its sleek white decor acting as the calming, understated counterpart.
