“Floating social enterprise”
An open-plan Living Room with co-working spaces and an open-air rooftop terrace overlooking the Docklands skyline.
Dutch industrial interiors by studio Blooey across a repurposed floating platform, featuring exposed steel and Lensvelt furniture.
Partnerships with Newham Council fund structured hospitality apprenticeships alongside locally sourced dining on the dock.
Floating on Royal Victoria Dock next to ExCeL, steps from the cable car and Elizabeth line.
Rooms
Compact waterfront rooms pair warm natural wood with walk-in showers, deliberately skipping televisions to encourage guests downstairs into communal spaces.
Backstory
The 8,000-tonne platform was towed across the North Sea from Amsterdam in 2016, operating as a non-profit reinvesting all revenue.
Eat & drink
The Living Room serves locally sourced plates beside communal work tables, while the rooftop terrace pours drinks overlooking Canary Wharf.
The neighborhood
Moored beside ExCeL London, the dock provides calm water views with swift Elizabeth line links and cable cars across the Thames.
