Hotel Mono — rooms

Rooms

A single continuous black metal bar traverses the ceiling as sculptural lighting and clothes rail, offset by nude-toned mosaic bath tiles.

Hotel Mono — backstory

Backstory

Designer William Chan transformed the former Dragon Court Hotel, preserving Rococo-era window frames and original shophouse airwells beneath the monochrome coat.

The neighborhood

Mosque Street puts Chinatown's bustling hawker stalls and tea shops right outside, with the MRT station just a short stroll away.
