Notable
An outdoor wood-fired sauna and heated Scandinavian bath facing the Mont Blanc massif.
What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
We’ve seen some masterfully renovated Alpine chalets in our time on this earth, but nothing like Alpaga.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
Megève's historic square sits a short drive downhill, where the hotel shuttle drops skiers directly at the Chamois gondola.
The rooms
Velvet headboards stand against pale timber walls, and private balconies look straight out at the surrounding peaks.
The pools
Bring a swimsuit.
The outdoor pool is heated to 30°C year-round. Inside, a dark slate plunge pool has massage jets.
The hot tub
A wooden Swedish hot tub sits on the deck, looking out toward the trees and snowy peaks.
At the table
Michelin-starred La Table de l'Alpaga serves alpine tasting menus, and the bistro dishes up Savoyard classics beside snow-covered slopes.
How it began

Built in 2010 to mirror a Savoyard hamlet, the property was overhauled in 2021 by design studio Charles & Co.
