What they say
One Michelin Key
Michelin
Also in Condé Nast Traveler and AFAR.
The style is rustic, the Alpine cabin-style rooms each fitted with a unique collection of Savoy antiques and modern conveniences like wireless internet and satellite television.
Somewhere quiet
Away from the crowds. Getting around takes intention.
A ten-minute walk through snowy park paths leads to the horse-drawn carriages and cobblestone lanes of Megève village square.
The rooms
Bedrooms combine exposed aged-oak beams and natural pine walls with Savoy antiques, woollen throws, and deep soaking tubs.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
Cathedral timber trusses rise over the indoor lap pool, and bay windows look straight out to the gardens.
The spa
Therapists use mountain arnica and edelweiss across seventeen treatment rooms. Outdoors, cedar hot tubs sit in the snow.
Dogs stay too.
Le Restaurant Traditionnel
Guests gather by a roaring stone hearth under exposed timber beams for Beaufort cheese ravioli and fireplace-roasted meats.
The deep sense of place is reflected in the design: warm woods, fur throws on fireside leather couches, weavings on walls.
At the table
Le Bar des Fermes pours wine by the fire, and summer brings outdoor banquets at high-altitude L'Alpage.
How it began

In 1989, the Sibuet family dismantled at-risk high-pasture farmhouses across the region, reassembling the centuries-old timbers on this Megève estate.
