Monumental bronzes dot rolling vineyards and fynbos gardens, framing a restored Cape Dutch manor estate above the Franschhoek Valley.
“Uncluttered and stylishly spartan, the wine studio is an intimate space, with several tables for two and two large tables for 10 to 15.”

Even at that size, it’s an intimate escape, more hideaway than resort.
Tucked away
A place apart: the property is the destination.
Minutes down the road, Franschhoek village offers independent art galleries, bistros, and historic Huguenot landmarks beneath rugged Cape mountains.
The rooms
Freestanding cottages and manor suites layer sisal, stone, and linen, finished with wood-burning fireplaces and marble bathrooms with rain showers.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
A 15-meter heated infinity pool overlooks the valley vineyards, and a separate plunge pool sits in the spa courtyard.
The spa
Three garden suites host vinotherapy rituals using local Pinotage grape seed polish and indigenous botanicals.
The gym
TechnoGym equipment faces floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the vines, with private yoga and Pilates on request.
At the table
The Dining Room harvests daily from the estate gardens, and The Wine Studio pours curated flights of Cape vintages.
Nestled on acres of prime mountainside estate less than a mile from town, Leeu Estates is a 24-room country house and boutique winery...
How it began

Founder Analjit Singh acquired the 19th-century farm after attending the 2010 World Cup, transforming the grounds into a sculpture-filled winery.
