The Water Trough serves Texas comfort fare and Mason jar cocktails, opening garage doors to the courtyard dining deck.
Surrounding the pool, 123 rooms and suites are well-designed with fine braided rugs, cowhide chairs, barn-style bathroom doors, Smeg refrigerators, and dedicated workspaces.
How it began
Designer Lauren Rottet conceived the property in 2013 as a contemporary revival of classic mid-century roadside motor courts.
