What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Noordin Mews took over a 1920s Peranakan shophouse and its attached mews on Noordin Street, once used by six families as hand-cart storage below and living quarters above; hooks on the columns, once used to park the carts, still survive.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Lebuh Noordin sits in the Seven Streets Precinct, a short walk from Cecil Market's hawker stalls and the Komtar tower.
The rooms
Mews rooms feature warm timber paneling and glass vanity cabinets displaying vintage grooming bottles from the 1950s.
The plunge pool
Bring a swimsuit.
A 12-meter plunge pool runs through the central courtyard, bordered by stone paving and tropical foliage.
At the table
The open-sided veranda borders the pool, serving afternoon tea and made-to-order breakfasts with local white coffee.
How it began

Six families once shared the compound as trishaw stables and servant quarters before hotelier Christopher Ong restored the site.
