MarriottSculptural fiberglass pavilion
The hotel functions as an oversized design object, wrapping a continuous fiberglass shell directly into Malpensa's Terminal 1.
What it’s good at
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
A covered bridge connects straight to Terminal 1, where airport trains run directly to central Milan.
The rooms
Rooms look onto recessed courtyards that screen out terminal traffic, shaded by sculptural PVC blackout curtains.
The pool
Bring a swimsuit.
Floor-to-ceiling windows line the heated indoor pool, with wooden loungers facing the airport grounds.
The spa and gym
Private treatment cabins handle massage rituals, and the adjacent fitness center stays open around the clock.
Il Canneto Restaurant
A six-meter crystal wine tower stands at the center of the room, which serves regional Mediterranean dishes.
At the table
Monterosa Bar pours evening drinks across an illuminated counter, and morning buffets set out fresh pastries beside the courtyard.
How it began

King Roselli Architetti conceived the building in 2006, bending industrial fiberglass panels across seven modular bays.

The city grew up with it. Same rituals, same regulars, same bar.

A world of its own. Something to do from breakfast to nightcap.
The scene

Where things happen: restaurants, shops, people.
