Concrete and raw timber frame compact studios, while the top-floor loft features a deep soaking tub, park vistas, and a vintage cassette player.

Backstory

Architect Kiyoaki Takeda based the design on alleyway gardening traditions, wrapping the facade in plant cuttings donated by Ningyocho residents.

Eat & drink

Ground-floor Pizza Tane serves naturally fermented sourdough pies and low-intervention wines, with morning pizzas baked using dough from sister bakery Parklet.

The neighborhood

Set along quiet Ningyocho backstreets, the hotel sits beside Horidome Children’s Park, surrounded by traditional craft shops and local standing bars.
