Italian cooking fills the dark wood dining room, which opens directly onto the enclosed courtyard garden.
The hotel’s interiors are more trendy than boho-chic, with shaggy wall-to-wall carpeting and brightly printed wallpaper in the bedrooms and colored crystal chandeliers in the elevator.

The moody bar counter holds over 130 whiskies, pouring house cocktail creations alongside a deep shelf of gins.

Wicker armchairs line the open-air rooftop terrace, where guests sip champagne cocktails overlooking the Outer Alster.
How it began
Hotelier Kai Hollmann built the property in 2008, styling the interiors with a playful nod to James Bond.
