Minimalist coppersmith shophouse
Six suites occupy this restored shophouse, honoring the lane's coppersmith history with raw brick, copper accents, and quiet minimalism.
“The redesign is anchored by materials like wood, granite, and copper… as a unifying language throughout the carefully reconfigured spaces.”

What they say
Michelin Selected

Also in Condé Nast Traveler.
The bones are original: brick walls, timber floors, and charred wood panels. And the finishes are simple, from the whitewashed façade to the copper details that refer to Armenian Street’s past life.
Right in the middle
Well-located: walkable to some things, a short ride to more.
Murals and shophouse cafes line Armenian Street, and the ornate Khoo Kongsi clan temple sits just up the road.
The rooms
Shuttered timber windows look down on the street, and rooms stay spare in pale tones. Larger suites add freestanding bathtubs.
Copper Restaurant and Bar
Chefs prepare modern Asian dishes in an open kitchen, and drinks are poured at the copper-topped bar.
How it began

The building started as lodgings for Armenian traders before burning down. Charred timber inside now recalls that fire.
