The house
OvoloRetro surf clubhouse
It runs like a social beach club. Mornings belong to Kuta's surf breaks, and evenings shift to the rooftop pool.
What it’s good at
Notable
Lava stone and kebaya-inspired hues accompany Jason Childs surf photography across the rooms.
What they say
Michelin Selected
Michelin
Rooms and suites are colorful and modern, cheerfully decorated in a beachy palette of white, navy, and aquamarine, with raffia rugs and lamp shades.
In a lively part of town
Where things happen: restaurants, shops, people.
Set directly on Jalan Pantai Kuta, the hotel opens onto prime surf breaks, seafood stalls, and lively street-front energy.
The rooms
Bedrooms feature woven headboards and vibrant kebaya tones, paired with surf photography by Jason Childs and views toward the Indian Ocean.
The rooftop pool
Bring a swimsuit.
Blue mosaic tiles line the rooftop infinity pool, bordered by cabanas and daybeds looking out over Kuta Beach.
At the table
Street 32 serves Pan-Asian dishes along the streetfront. Upstairs, Kuta Social Club grills seafood beneath open-air thatched rafters.
How it began

A former apartment hotel was gutted in 2020, rebuilt using Balinese craftsmanship, local lava stone, and scored brick.
